Church Family Camp 2025

November 14-16

2025

South Ballina

  • Who is it for?

Everyone who is part of or connected to Evans Head Presbyterian Church. Invite your friends and family- you don’t need to normally come to church.

Maybe you’re part of the mainly music playgroup?

    Maybe you came to 321?

Maybe you came to holiday kids club?

    Come and join in!

(If you’re part of the youth group please bring your family or seek a family to take responsibility for you over the weekend)

  • How do I book?

There is a two step process.

Firstly you need to book accomodation with Ballina Beach Nature Resort. This ranges from unpowered camping to other cabins and upmarket tents.

Book via their webpage at ballinabeach.com.au

Use the group code “EVANSHEADPRES25” to let them know you’re part of our group and to receive a 10% discount on accomodation.

Secondly use the RSVP form below to let us know you’re coming.

  • Can I come for the day?

Yes! We want you to be there!

Please also RSVP to say that you’re coming out for the day and if you require transport.

Further, there is fee of $45 per family for full access to the awesome water park that is at the site.

  • What do I bring?

BYO everything. Depending on what accomodation you choose you may need to bring camping gear or not.

We will supply dinner on Friday night so you don’t have to!

Otherwise you do your own cooking etc. so bring food to eat for 1 dinners, 2 breakfast times and 2 lunches.

There is lots to do. You might like to pack your canoe, swimmers, fishing gear, sports gear, an instrument…

You might also want to bring things to share or do with others. Saturday arvo nibbles and Sunday morning tea are often a bring and share arrangement.
You might like to bring a card or board game to play with others or some sports equipment that can be played with others.

If you are staying in a cabin you will need to bring your own linen also.

  • What's provided?

We will have a large hall that will serve as a common space for us to be together. We will set up some bbq’s just outside of that. We will set up tables and chairs there also.

There is a camp kitchen available. It will be close by but is shared with the whole park. If you’re in a cabin or delux swag you will have a kitchenet/ kitchen.

Dinner on Friday night will also be provided. There will be a range of slow cooked meats, potato bakes and salads with bread rolls. This means you can come when you can and all you have to think about it setting up, we’ve got the food sorted!

COST: Cost will depend on your choice of accomodation.

If it is not affordable, please be in touch and we can offer help to get you there!

We are also asking for a small fee of $25 per adult (children are free) to go towards the hiring of our gathering space and also dinner on Friday night. This is paid on arrival- cash or card.
